Our course schedule
BWKE – Movement, Perception and Communication as a Unit
The same applies to every day: participants' questions are addressed, and the schedule and exercises are adapted to the group. The short breaks can be varied in agreement with the group – what matters is keeping to the 8 teaching units. Planned total time: 6 hours (8 teaching units) plus breaks per day; optional additional time is offered after the course each day.
General practical assignment
ADL-appropriate movement support for patients in the participants' own work environment (e.g. washing, mobilising into the chair and back, acting in difficult situations)
Depending on the medical focus, aspects such as movement learning, finding meaning, getting up from the floor or movement support after surgery may come to the fore
Practical supervision (add-on)
On request, the knowledge learned can be applied and practised immediately at the patient's bedside through practical instruction/supervision. This extends the course by the respective time units of bedside application. Experience with practical supervision is available in many facilities.
Example of a course with practical supervision (1 × 5 days): Monday, Tuesday and Thursday = course; Wednesday and Friday = practical supervision.
